Steveston Salmon Festival
Where?
Steveston Village, located at the mouth of the Fraser River. My neighborhood!
When?
Wednesday July 1st, 2009
Steveston Salmon Festival is the pride and joy of our little fishing village turned food destination. The BC Salmon Festival boasts the biggest Wild Salmon BBQ which is manned by dozens of volunteers. The town smell like one big delicious BBQ pit. The parade starts outside our apartment and I plan to get a good spot this year and bring along my camera!
Don’t forget to pick up your fresh wild seafood off the docks of Steveston Village. Everything from dungenous crab to spot prawns. If it’s in season and local, it’s sold on the dock.
See you there!
